November 28, 2019, will be the day I will always remember forever. That day was when I finally broke the infamous 16-minute barrier for 5 km. Some runners were able to accomplish that feat either during high school or college. There were some runners who were able to accomplish that feat after college. I was the one who accomplished that feat after college, even though I ran cross country and track at both levels. On that day, I was the age of 27 years old (turning 28 in September). So why did it take so long to break 16 minutes for a 5k?
